Community Branches & Member Libraries
Onondaga County's suburban member libraries (independent but affiliated with OCPL) provide excellent local access to books, e-resources, programs, story times, computers, and community events. As of March 2026, these branches serve towns like Liverpool, Fayetteville, Cicero, Baldwinsville, Camillus, Manlius, and more — convenient for Clay, North Syracuse, Dewitt, and surrounding areas (~10–30 min drive). They complement the city branches with neighborhood-focused services.
Highlights include Liverpool Public Library (large collection, programs), Fayetteville Free Library (inclusive community hub), and NOPL Cicero (north-side access). Check official sites for hours, events, and digital borrowing.
Community-updated — email jim@syr-area.com with changes or corrections.
Looking for city locations instead? If you are looking for branches within the Syracuse city limits (like the Central Library downtown, Petit, or Beauchamp), check out our companion directory of Syracuse City Branch Libraries.
