Sweet Sour Pork Chops Recipe

   Ingredients required
6 thin sliced sirloin pork chops
1 - 13 1/2 oz can pineapple chunks
1 cup green pepper chunks
1 cup chicken broth
hot cook rice
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup sliced onion
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbsp of soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons of cornstarch

   Pan fry chops till golden brown. Combined pineapple, green pepper, broth, onion, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and salt. Add to chops. Cover simmer 15 minutes. Remove chops and place on rice. Moisten cornstarch with water. And to sauce mixture, cook stirring constantly until sauce is thickened. Pour over chops and rice.

   Ingredients required
five or six pork chops, 1/2 in thick
1 can cream of celery soup
one cup water
baked potatoes

   Brown pork chops. Poor can of celery soup over pork chops, add water. Place fry pan on low so soup simmers. Simmer for 45 minutes. Use soup for gravy on baked potatoes. Total cooking time is one hour. Serves four.

   Ingredients required
1 cup uncooked rice
6 pork chops, 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
2 tablespoons oil
1 can onion soup
1/2 cup water

Preheat oven 350 degrees

   Spread 1 cup uncooked rice in bottom of a large baking dish. Brown six pork chops, one to 1 and 1/2 in thick in a 2 tbsp of oil then drain. Place on rice. Combine one can onion soup with 1/2 cup of water. Place over chops and rice. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to an hour, till tender. When chops are tender, remove foil. Cook 10 minutes longer or until excessive liquid evaporate. Serves six.
